Representative Payee Services

Social Security sometimes appoints a rep-payee to manage the SSI/SSD benefits for someone that cannot manage them themselves. A payee’s main duty is to use those benefits to pay for current and future needs of the person receiving them. They must keep a detailed record of how those benefits were used and save any money for the sole use of the beneficiary. A payee must keep detailed records of expenses and fill out a yearly report to Social Security, as to how the money was spent.

The Oneida Housing Authority office is open Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) from 8:00AM to 4:00PM and closed for lunch from 12:00PM to 1:00PM
